Londo Mollari (Peter Jurasik) Undoubtedly he is one of the most brilliant characters on Babylon 5. He is the Ambassador of the Centauri Republic, which was the first alien world the earth came into contact with. During the last thousand years they lost of their former prestige and power. In order to regain the former power, Mollari made a deal with the shadows (see below) and the Centauri started a cruel war of extermination against the Narn, who once occupied several Centauri worlds. Mollari is a loner, not the ordinary villain, but a man of honor, who wants to bring back the golden age to his race. Perhaps he follows the wrong path, but he is completely aware of his deeds and its consequences, and he is prepared to take responsibility for that. |

Vir Cotto (Stephen Furst) He is the assistant of Mollari, timorous but sincere. Vir is such a hoot! He basically is one of the good guys so that he often gets a guilty conscience because of Mollaris decisions. In the future he no longer lives on the station, but on planet Minbar. |

Mr. Morden (Ed Wasser) He is the intermediary between Mollari and the shadows. He is evil personified, but the only thing we really know about him is that he was a member of an expedition to Z'ha'dum that never returned. Is he really human? He is able to communicate with the shadows directly... most likely, he was convinced to cooperate with them in order to save himself, but he seems to be more than a subordinate to the shadows. Morden is meticulously polite, but nonetheless is a menacing presence, who can casually discuss the deaths of tens of thousands of Narn as easily as most people talk about the weather. Morden appears - death and destruction follow. |

The SHADOWS These demonic looking creatures are a completely unknown race from the outer regions of space. Their planet is known as Z'ha'dum, but nobody ever returned from there (except Mr. Morden) Nobody knows about their aimes and motives. It appears that they are invisible to any other being, their technology is superior. They kill without any moral principals and assuming that they prepare to attack the whole galaxy, who should stop them? |
